Privacy policy

Note: this is the English version of the German Datenschutzerklärung. In case of doubt, the German version applies.

1. Overview

This website is a product page for streamkeepr. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no third-party content apart from the spam check of the contact form. Fonts are served from this domain. Personal data arises in three cases: when the page is technically delivered by our hosting provider, when you write to us by e-mail, and when you send the contact form.

2. Controller

Beyond Bits GmbH
Roosevelt Avenue 4
61231 Bad Nauheim
Germany
Managing director: Thomas Dudek
E-mail: sales@streamkeepr.io

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is delivered as static content through the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; the contact form is processed by a Cloudflare Worker and delivered by Cloudflare Email Service (see sections 4 and 5). When the page is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. Cloudflare uses this data to deliver the page, to defend against attacks and to keep its network stable; we do not evaluate it ourselves and do not combine it with other data.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, fast and reliable provision of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Cloudflare may also process data outside the European Union; the transfer is safeguarded by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission and by Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information: Cloudflare privacy policy.

4. Contact by e-mail and contact form

If you write to us by e-mail or send the contact form on this page, we process the data you provide (name, company, work e-mail address, role if given, topic and the content of your message) in order to handle your request. The contact form is received by a small program running at Cloudflare (a Cloudflare Worker), which checks the input, runs the spam check described in section 5 and forwards your request as a plain-text e-mail to our mailbox through Cloudflare Email Service (sent from noreply@forms.streamkeepr.io). The request is not stored anywhere else; it exists only in our mailbox. The IP address from which the form was sent is included in that e-mail so that we can recognise abuse.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract or to steps prior to entering into a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering requests and in preventing abuse of the form (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data remains with us until the request has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way, or until you ask us to delete it.

5. Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile

To keep automated spam away from the contact form we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Turnstile's script is loaded from Cloudflare only when the contact form is shown. According to Cloudflare, Turnstile processes the IP address, the TLS fingerprint, the browser's user-agent header and the site key with its origin, solely to tell humans from bots and to improve that detection; it does not read what you type into the form. In the configuration we use, Turnstile sets no cookies. Cloudflare's processing is covered by our data processing agreement with Cloudflare; transfers outside the European Union are safeguarded as described in section 3. Further information: Cloudflare Turnstile privacy addendum.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a contact form that works without being flooded by automated requests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). If you prefer not to use Turnstile, write to us by e-mail instead; the address is given next to the form.

6. No cookies, no analytics

This website sets no cookies and stores no information in your browser; this includes the spam check of the contact form in the configuration we use. No web analytics, advertising or social media services are used. For this reason there is no cookie notice and no consent request.

7. Encryption

The page is delivered exclusively over HTTPS (TLS). You can recognise the encrypted connection by the lock symbol in the address bar of your browser.

8. Your rights

With regard to the personal data concerning you, you have the following rights against us:

  • access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Wiesbaden, Germany. An e-mail to sales@streamkeepr.io is sufficient to exercise your rights.

9. Changes

We adapt this privacy policy when the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
